Blog Entry 5 – Project 1: Research

Looking at Levi van Veluw work he has a lot of picture of just his face, but what is on his face seems to play a big role on how his face look, especially in his ball point pictures.  His art seems to just be a reflection of a curtain feeling he is having.  But this type of art I can really relate to with the music I listen to.  The music I listen too is always dependent on the mood I am in.  This is something that is very simple to show but the way Levi shows it is very unique.

Catlin Harrison has some a neat self-portrait of herself.  But what is really interesting about it is that she drew a separate image to describe different parts or herself.  Almost like there are certain thing about her that conflict but to her work out perfectly.  I can also relate to this because I also feel like certain parts of me conflict.  For example, when I am Mennonite but I love to see violent movies.  Catlin has a great way to show herself as a person.

Blog Entry 1: Photo-Based Design Interaction

One of my favorite bands, The Letter Black,  has this awesome picture of beautiful but worn down flower to represent our lives as a person but also has something of that representing the topics that they are singing about in the CD.

My 12 pack of mountain dew doesn't just have a graphic image of there own product they also have a graphic image a a stern faced batman representing the intensity and awesomeness of the advertised movie.

Ultimate Frisbee, has these pictures explaining on their flier showing how intense and fun of a game it is.  It doesn't have to say that people are having fun these picture of real games explain it all.
Popcorn, yummmm! My favorite snack!  It just makes me want to eat more of it when they post picture of their golden goodness on the front of their product showing me how tasty it looks

Worship Dance team made a really neat background for their flier  showing that they are real dancers and not just messing around
